She has brought fun and laughter to millions of people around the world and she will be sadly missed. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of 'Golden Girl' Estelle Getty. The film and television industries have lost a wonderful actress. Estelle, you were a very inspirational person and brought joy to many people's lives, including my own. I always loved (and still love) watching 'The Golden Girls'. Keep them laughing in heaven. well i remember when i watched the Golden Girls for the first time with my grandma. and imidiatly i was hooked on that show. we would watch it every evening when it came on. and i absolutly loved Estelle's character. when i got word that she had passed away i was floored. then i thought man she was one heck of a woman. she was a great woman i would imagine and one heck of a good actress....she will be missed.

I was so sad to read of Estelle's passing recently. Her humour, her wit, her gracious performance's helped me through some very tough times in 2007. I would watch (and still do) Golden Girls in the evenings to escape, and found myself laughing instead. For that, I will always be grateful. Thank you Estelle and for the Golden Girls.

The first time I watched the Golden Girls I was 6 years old. My Nana watched the show without fail and I watched it faithfully with her. Now, my Nana has been gone for a year. I still watch the show faithfully, I own all seven seasons on DVD. It is a part of me; it is a part of what I shared with my Nana. Thank you, Estelle. Your legacy will live on through the magic you brought to television, stage, film, and above all, The Golden Girls.

My friend was kind enough to lend us the 7 seasons of the Golden Girls both my son and I thorougly enjoyed it to the point where we watched one episode after the other. Estelle Getty was his favorite. I loved them all. There final episode brought tears to our eyes because you could feel the love between them. It was by far one of the best sitcoms. Thank you, Golden Girls...:)

The Golden Girls, especially Estelle, bring back such good memories of my childhood. I remember watching the show with my father, who passed away 15 years ago. Also as a child, I wrote a letter to the show and was lucky enough to get an autographed photo from all the girls. Thanks for the memories!
